Principal's Message
Welcome to Heritage Elementary!
It is my privilege and honor to serve La Porte ISD and our community as the Principal of Heritage Elementary. I am a proud product of Bulldog Nation, graduating from La Porte High School before obtaining my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Houston, Clear Lake, and my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Lamar University. My parents chose LPISD for my education, I chose LPISD for the education of my own 4 children and I continue to choose LPISD to educate tomorrow’s future world changers!
Our vision at Heritage is to develop well rounded, confident and responsible individuals who aspire to achieve their personal best, and we look forward to partnering with you in order to achieve this vision! I give you my personal assurance that every decision we make at Heritage will be based on what is best for our children!
We know each student is an individual, bringing unique talents and needs to school every day. We pride ourselves on the opportunities that we have available to help each and every student child succeed. These opportunities are included in our academic programming, which ensures each child is challenged appropriately while building a foundation of knowledge and skills.
Families and community members play a critical role as partners in the education of our students. We look forward to working with you throughout the year to make important decisions that affect both your child as an individual and the school as a whole. As a start to this partnership, we hope you will join the PTA and volunteer whenever possible in school activities.
Heritage Elementary is a wonderful learning community. We appreciate the trust you have shown in us by sending your children here every day. We will do our best to ensure they have a memorable, fulfilling, happy and safe school year.
