Welcome to Heritage Elementary!
It is my privilege and honor to serve La Porte ISD and our community as the Principal of Heritage Elementary. As a proud product of Bulldog Nation, I graduated from La Porte High School before earning my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Houston–Clear Lake and my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Lamar University. My parents chose LPISD for my education, I chose LPISD for my own four children, and I continue to choose LPISD to educate tomorrow’s future world changers.
As I begin my fifth year as principal, I am reminded daily that this work is truly my calling. Watching our students grow, discover, and lean into their potential fills every moment with purpose. Their curiosity, determination, and kindness inspire me more than they will ever know. Heritage is a special place because of the people who fill it — our students, our families, and a staff who pours heart and excellence into everything they do.
Our vision at Heritage is to develop well rounded, confident, and responsible individuals who aspire to achieve their personal best. We know each child brings unique strengths, talents, and needs, and we pride ourselves on providing opportunities that help every student succeed. Our academic programming challenges students appropriately while building a strong foundation of knowledge and skills, and every decision we make is grounded in what is best for children.
Families and community members play a vital role in this work. We value your partnership and look forward to working alongside you to support your child and strengthen our school community. We encourage you to stay connected, join the PT and participate whenever possible — together, we can realize our shared vision of excellence
